We designed the Unfold Mirror to enable simultaneous use of mirror and access to mirror cabinet in small bathrooms, fostering a simpler, more organized lifestyle. It addresses the compromise between usage of mirror and the storage cabinet behind for traditional swinging mirror cabinet designs, which necessitates inconvenient, repetitive back-and-forth motions when fetching items. Unfold reinvents the common medicine cabinet mirror in bathroom, allowing simultaneous use of the mirror and access to essentials effortlessly. Instead of swinging, the mirror employs a multi-nodal pivot hinge allowing it to unfold. By doing so, the mirror remains facing the user, providing uninterrupted access to items while seeing the mirror. It also enables users of all ages and physical abilities to maintain their posture while opening and closing the mirror and retrieving their items. Unfold demands less space for movement and fits more bathroom layout in different sizes. It seeks to fluently enhance our daily routines with simplicity, convenience, and elegance.
